Core Capabilities

Real‑Time Rate and Service Selection

Retrieve live shipping quotes from Cario and compare available services inside Business Central. Selected services and charges can be applied directly to sales documents or warehouse shipments.

Consignment Creation and Tracking

Generate consignments with one action. The integration records consignment note numbers, Cario IDs, estimated delivery dates, and all tracking details provided by carriers. Tracking updates can run automatically through scheduled background processes.

Label and Document Handling

Download carrier labels, consignment notes, and manifest summaries automatically or on demand. All files are stored against the relevant shipping record for easy access during packing and dispatch.

Shipping Execution

Shipping Consignments

Manage the complete shipping process from a dedicated consignment page. Users can review services, create consignments, monitor status changes, and manage carrier‑provided details without leaving Business Central.

Shipping Manifests

Group consignments by location and pickup date, register manifests with Cario, and close out daily dispatch. Once registered, manifest lines can be cancelled only when approved by the carrier, ensuring accurate shipping records.

The extension uses Business Central’s standard Shipping Agents, Agent Services, and Shipping Units, with several Cario‑specific fields added to support correct carrier configuration.
